Happy April!
This is my last newsletter to you all! At least for now.
A year ago I started this substack and it’s been a wonderful journey. But a lot has changed in that year. I’ve been slowly stepping back from different aspects of my career and this has been the last tether I have to it, and I feel ready to end this chapter too.
Thank you to everyone who has been with me from the start! Your messages back, tips, and encouragement have been everything! Im excited for this next chapter and will miss sharing my resources. If you’re a book lover and want to keep following what I read you can follow me here on GoodReads.
I will leave my substack up for those who wish to read past posts and maybe in the future I’ll be back and fill you in on what I’ve been up to, but for now, I’m starting a new path. THANK YOU for all your support!
As always.... my last monthly ponderings and gatherings collected just for you
🧠 What I’m thinking about: How I’ll miss these monthly updates to you all, but also I’ve been enjoying living a more “anonymous” life. This may sound weird but its just felt so good the last 6 months to be off SM and now I’ll be off here too.
📚 What I’m reading: Well I just finished this, and this. Next up is this and this. I think my goal of not spending money on books this year will be met! Thanks to everyone who sent tips and tricks!
🍝 What I'm Eating: I’ve been turning dinner leftovers into sandwiches the next day. Flank steak fajitas one night is flank steak sandwiches the next day with ginger soy dip+slaw. Chicken burgers one night became chicken and egg pickle sandwiches the next. Now I make dinners so I can make sandwiches tomorrow 😅
🎧 What I’m listening to: I made a playlist called “Resist” and I listen to it every time Trump opens his mouth. Which is pretty much every day. My family knows the words to this song by now because it is all I play.
📺 What I’m Watching: Oh boy. I was hit by a nasty flu in March. So I binge-watched these 3 series 🙈 This one has me scared about the internet and teens. This one has me worried about the future, and this one gets me nervous about the impact of influencers on my girls one day. All in all, I watch pretty heavy and depressing shows….
🌻 What is bringing me Joy: The light, there is so much more daylight here in Norway. Wow, I have missed it.
Thanks for being here everyone!
